"The room I had was nicely appointed and clean. This room did not have a balcony but it has a terrific view of the ocean. It was an ocean front room. The room had a microwave as well as a mini refrigerator."

"Hilo rains frequently. The room smelled very musty and the odor was stronger when the a/c was turned on, as if the filter hadn’t been replaced. Also, there were little cockroaches scurrying around at night. If you choose to stay there, buy a can of bug spray and air freshener."

"The location was great! Minutes from Volcanoes National Park! Also it was close to some restaurants and gas! The place was spacious and had comfortable bedding. There was a heater for cooler nights! The coffee pod machine and fridge are such nice features!!!"
