"The hotel runs with the efficiency of a well-oiled machine. The staff are polite and very attentive while the food is to a very high standard overall. Our room was cosy and clean, although the absence of a lift can prove problematic for anyone with a disability. Well located, the hotel affords easy access to the surrounding area. Overall, the hotel exudes a homely feel, offering good food, attentive service and comfortable accommodation."

"The location of Misty Bay is fantastic. It’s extremely quiet and the views are gorgeous. The grounds are immaculate. Phil, our host, was most welcoming. Our room was beautiful, the linens were pristine and our bathroom was modern with even a heated towel rack. There is an upstairs TV lounge, and down the hall from our bedroom was a wonderfully equipped kitchen - microwave, air fryer, cappuccino maker, toaster, fridge, kettle- teas, coffee, biscuits, cartons of water and milk in the fridge.
