"Impressive heritage decor and artefacts layered upon a modern construction that is airy. Spacious room and feature swimming pool. Easy rickshaw distance to both palaces and to batik museum. Good value. Best nights’s sleep with high quality towels etc… Staff all very helpful. "
"Great value for money and in a great spot within town, with a delicious Wedangan Pendopo Javanese restaurant nearby and many cafes within walking distance. Staff were extremely helpful and kind. Would definitely stay again if I return to Solo. "
"Overall oke banget untuk hotel budget. Letak cukup strategis. Pelayanan bagus dan cepat. Hanya pembuangan wastafel di kamar kami agak seret sehingga air lama turunnya. Parkiran kecil namun ada layanan valet gratis. Dinding lumayan tipis sehingga orang ngobrol di luar kamar terdengar jelas."
"The good: Lovely staff who are always willing to assist. The friendly greetings each time we walked past the reception desk made us smile.
Comfortable room.
The bad: Food at the restaurant not great for the price.
The ugly: Room had quite a bit of wear and tear. The smell of other guests smoking nearby was really strong and unpleasant. Noisy guests kept us awake over a couple of nights."

"Saya menginap di Hotel Bintang Solo dalam acara Wisuda di UNS, kondisi hotel kurang terawat, kelihatan sudah lama, tempat tidur, kasur, sprei kurang bersih, shower seadanya air muncrat kemana2 walaupun untuk air lumayan bersih, handuk sangat kumal terpaksa dipakai karena tidak bawa serep..nilai lebihnya ada pada lokasinya, sangat dekat dengan kampus sehingga tidak terburu2 untuk mendatangi acara ..."
