"Big party next door. So a bachelor party spoiled our sleep the last night. We travel with two kids who need their sleep. So I contacted the reception at 21.00. The woman was helpful and told me to contact the guard if the party wasn't over @ 22.00. It wasn't. Contacted the reluctant guard @ 22.30 who told me to report problems to the reception the next day. I insisted that the party was closed down in accordane with house rulles. If he actually did so I don't know, but only when my wife...

A modern indoor swimming pool with lounge chairs and a stone wall.

Hotel Pelegrin Plava Laguna

Umag

10/10 Excellent

The location was lovely, close to the beach so you can choose hotel pools or the sea. Bear in mind it’s two miles out of Umag if your hiking as we were but no problem. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was a buffet, however, it was excellent which a lot of buffets are not. The wellness facilities were excellent and I really appreciated that and it was good value for the money. Thoroughly recommend and I have nothing bad to say. A kettle would have made it 11/10

Hotel Nautica

Novigrad

10/10 Excellent

Our first trip to Croatia. We stayed for a week during very hot weather. The pool and wellness facilities were excellent. The a/c in the room was great and accommodation all very comfortable. We loved the vibe in Novigrad and ate at a few of the restaurants, just a short walk from the hotel. There is also a lovely park you can walk to where there is easy access to swim in the sea. We had free parking at the hotel and had days out inPorec, umag and rovinj.

Anthony

A modern room with a balcony overlooking the sea, featuring a sofa, a dining table with chairs, and a large plant.

Blu Mare Hotel

Novigrad Old Town

8/10 Good

Modern bright hotel by the coast in Novigrad. Hotel is only a few years old and everything is pretty up to date with the usual things you'd expect these days. Quiet location on the edge of the old town, looking right on to the Adriatic. Breakfast was included and was very good, with eggs made to order. They also have a restaurant on site. The staff were very good and made the stay very pleasant and felt welcoming. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Residence Garden Istra Plava Laguna

8/10 Good

Unfortunately there was a massive storm the previous night in umag, so the hotel had no electricity when we arrived and they were not sure when it will be back. It was out of their hand, but they did everything they could to help customers. The manager lady was absolutely fantastic. Very helpful and compassionate, and the whole team of staff was excellent. We have been offered a room in another hotel, literally next door, that was closer to the beach, and very new, and room was spacious. And we...

ROXANICH Winery and Design Hotel

Motovun

10/10 Excellent

Excellent hotel in a stunning location with great views and a lovely infinity pool. Room was much larger than expected and had a very unique design. Food was lovely, breakfast had lots of options but all were done to a very high quality. Staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Many of the Roxanich wines on sale by the glass in the bar which were very reasonably priced. Would love to return at some point!

Rivalmare Boutique Hotel

Novigrad Old Town

10/10 Excellent

A lovely welcome from friendly, well trained staff who spoke excellent English. Special thanks to Paula the manager and Thaomir and Mate. The hotel had only been opened for two weeks and everything was running perfectly. Hotel design is very modern and mainly white but with some subtle pastel colours. Bed was incredibly comfortable and we were only the second guests to stay in the room. Food was excellent with great breakfast buffet and excellent coffee, though you have to pay extra for eggs at...

Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna

10/10 Excellent

We travel a lot every year, mostly cruises, but this hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed in. From the moment we got to the hotel we were totally relaxed. The lobby bar area is spacious and comfortable with a pianist/band playing music every night. Nothing loud just nice atmosphere. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom. All fully air-conditioned with tv. What more could anyone want? The gardens are tidy with hammocks to relax in amongst the trees, lots of lovely...

We spent two nights here and visited Venice during one day. Hotel located within few minutes of boarding point for boat to Venice so we were able to eat breakfast before 8.00 am departure. Good menu in restaurant and coffee bar, pleasant friendly staff and good rooms and furnishings. Pool rather small but adequate for a cooling dip. Seaviews from terrace great and an enjoyable and relaxing place to watch boats coming in and out of harbour. Good flat paths and roads to cycle and hotel stored our...
