The staff was great. Checkin for 5 rooms in our group went quickly with no issues. I also forgot to print boarding passes for our cruise and the front desk girls were so kind and helpful and did that for me once I emailed it to them. Breakfast was also great. I highly recommend this hotel. Rooms were spacious and you have everything you would need there. Will definitely come back the next time we are in Galveston.

Ice maker needs to work, especially on very high temperature days. The hotel is only as good as the staff…Lily, front desk attendant, made you feel like “family”. She gets 5 stars all by herself. I would recommend as well as book again

The room was very clean and everything was up to date. The only little tiny issue we had was that it was 6 of us in the room and we ran out of toilet paper day 1 on a 2 day stay. Other than that it was great.

First you have to pay for parking. Imagine getting to the desk and the gentleman says you have to pay 50 dollars toward incidentals and its to help cover parking costing 10 dollars a day. If you pay for the room shouldn't that be covered in the cost? The same property owner owns 2 other hotels in that area. I wonder if he charges for parking at the other two hotel? I booked this room on Expedia and did not see any mention of paying for parking. The balcony room was nice along with amenities included in the room. The Pier was in walking distance and the beach across the street was easy to get to even with traffic. There are a few restaurants in walking distance of the hotel.
