"I can not say enough about Wilton castle. It was amazing staying in the self contained suites. There was a fire place in the suite that was prepared and ready to go everyday. The property itself is amazing, at one point in our stay we were the on people there. Pretty unrealistic staying on a property like this by yourself. "This stay five was out of this world. This is a historic castle that has amazing public areas and the private rooms are warm and inviting. Staff was helpful and hands off unless you needed assistance, the main dining room had French service and breakfast in the solarium was a great start to our day. They even had had a visit from Santa and an albino wallabe. "

I would highly recommend to communicate with the host ahead of time, because while the contact phone number is listed at multiple points on the property, it can be difficult for a traveler without phone service. I was traveling from another country and had data only, I was fortunate to have a local person lend me their phone so I could check in that first evening.
