Top Funningsfjørður Hotel Reviews

Hotel Runavik

10/10 Excellent

"A very good hotel in the Faroes, offering great value for money. Clean and tidy throughout, quiet, with curtains in the room, comfortable beds, and a substantial breakfast—everything you need."

Hotel Djurhuus

10/10 Excellent

"We got a regular room very last minute and it was clean and relatively spacious for a standard room. The breakfast is great. A lot of hotel in the Faroe Islands and Scandinavia (in my experience) tend to do just bread with topping but they had warm options as well which I appreciated (scrambled and boiled eggs, waffles with syrup and whipped cream). A very good continental breakfast. The beds were also very comfortable and our room had a great view of the coast. If you have a car the parking situation is not great. The parking lot is very small and you have to reverse/drive out directly onto a relatively busy road. However that is just part of being in Torshavn, anywhere you go there is limited parking and lots of large SUV’s so just be mindful."
