"Tolles Hotel mit wunderbarer Aussicht rundherum in die Weinberge, allerdings nicht auf den Douro. Sehr ruhige Lage mit Anfahrt über schmale, zum Teil sehr steile mit Schotter bedeckte Wege. Freundliches und engagiertes Personal. Danke auch an das Housekeeping. Top Service der Bar bis zum Pool. Badetücher werden zur Verfügung gestellt. Gutes Essen im Restaurant auch noch recht kurzfristig möglich. Super Frühstück. Ich mochte auch die kleinen Infotafeln auf dem Weingut am Wegesrand."

"This is a nice boutique hotel in the center city of Lamaga. The room was large, clean, nicely appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't avail ourselves of the spa tub in the room but it is certainly a nice feature. The rooftop pool is inviting and there is an adjacent bar/lounge area. "We stayed in the new section of the hotel made primarily of local stone. The interior design as well as the exterior are so chic, tasteful and of excellent quality. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast, and food from the snack bar are all outstanding. The wine tour was wonderful. 10 out of 10."

"Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen absolut übertroffen. Eine sehr gemütliche fast private Unterkunft. Frühstück ist ein Traum mit Obt und Orangensaft direkt vom Hotel eigenen Obstgarten. Die Weinprobe war sehr interessant. Der Höhepunkt war das Abendessen, das ist nicht zu beschreiben, das muss man einfach erleben. Ein Pool mitten in den Weinbergen ist eine willkommene Abkühlung an einem heißen Tag. Ein Auto zu mieten ist sehr zu empfehlen um die schöne Gegend kennenzulernen. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"This was such a beautiful quaint Quinta to stay at. Compared to some of the other larger ones in the area, we loved that it was small and quiet. It’s located in a good spot to travel to surrounding towns for dinner or sightseeing. The two donkeys and cats were an added bonus. I loved visiting them every day! The staff were very helpful and so friendly. The daily breakfast was perfect and the fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious. The pictures don’t do it justice, the whole place is stunning!...

However, there were no food options or winery tours available when we were there? Not sure if this is normally how it is, but we always had to drive somewhere else to do anything. If you’re looking for a hotel that you can remain on the property then I don’t recommend this one, but if you’re looking for a quiet hotel and are okay with driving for tours/food then...
