Honestly, we picked the perfect place to stay for our first time in Fredericksburg!!! The cabin was so cute and clean, and the scenery was just peaceful. We will definitely stay there again!!!

Great get-away!

Cabin was very comfortable. Perfect location on 290 if your goal is to visit the vineyards. The Mendelbaum Winery provides great Israeli wines.

Upon arrival, there were a few issues regarding the cabin however, Francisco, who kept up the property, was very responsive to our concerns. It was very quiet and peaceful! Our pup loved it too:)

I had a wonderful stay here,it was so quiet and peaceful on the grounds. I saw deer very often just walking around,it was amazing. The cabin itself was quaint,it fit my family. It was close enough to town without it being overwhelming. The winery had many great options of wine. I got a flight and the guy pouring the wine was very knowledgeable and funny. I wouldn't definitely book here again.

Had a wonderful stay during the eclipse. The owner treated my wife, two daughters, and me like family. We even grilled chicken together and drank some of his excellent wine. We loved the "Garden of Eden," wine selection. We stayed above the wine tasting room at the main building which had hardwood floors and was neat and clean. We took a drive down to the cabins which were very nice and secluded in the woods. They were sold out but looked very nice. Thanks for all Nitzan.

The bed is really uncomfortable, and the pillow and sheet are also not good. The cabin is too small, and the grill is not for use. This is my first and last time being there. The only good thing is the location.

The cabin was charming and nestled in the woods. We even were able to enjoy seeing an armadillo at night right outside the cabin. We enjoyed the lantern lit drive in to the property and how close it was to Fredericksburg and Luckenback. The staff were wonderful and we can't wait to go back and stay longer!

We drove 5 hours, full of excitement, and finally arrived at our cabin. When we went to use the bathroom, we found a large live scorpion in the bathtub, along with a huge wasp flying around. We didn’t react much to the wasp, but finding a scorpion is absolutely unacceptable. We couldn’t stay in the room and tried to speak with the owner, but he was very rude and not helpful at all. He said it’s normal to have scorpions inside the house, which is completely unreasonable. We left immediately, but he refused to refund our money. We’re now in contact with Expedia about the situation.

Nice place to stay.. just doesn't cool off to well in the evenings, lack of cutlery for the kitchen, the amazon fire stick in the livingroom didn't work at all. Aside from that.. it was a nice little weekend away and we enjoyed ourselves.

Worked out in the end. Great wine!

Initially we did not know how to get into our room. Once we did the second level had dog feces in it. Thwy quickly changed us to another cabin. Apparently Hotels.com neber confirmed our booking with Mendelbaum, and so they were not quite prepared for us, and had not charged. Ultimately thwy were great and took care of us. The managers were kot happy with Hotwls.com

VRBO booked me at this place because they screwed up my original booking after charging my credit card almost 700.00. TVs don’t work ac barely works sewer is backed up. These booking agents have done a horrible job.I will be contacting them in the morning

Great potential but missed the mark.

The place had great potential, but unfortunately seem to be in a state of neglect. The house had several issues – toilet didn’t work, smoke, alarms, beeping, no coffee. Personnel were indicated to be available at the winery tasting, but the place was shut down two hours before posted hours. Staff did respond via text and bring Personnel over to evaluate the toilet, but ended up needing to move us to a different cabin because of the condition. Overall, the grounds were in a nice spot, but had ladders and materials scattered all around. For the price point this place unfortunately missed the mark.

Tucked away gem.

Small and tight quarters, but has everything that you would need. Stocked kitchen. Great place for a couple staying to see what the area has to offer. Close to the area wineries and just a short drive to town. Tucked in away from the road for a quiet retreat. Everything worked as it should. Deck was a nice touch to enjoy some of the wine that we bought.
