Inexpensive option close to the Zeil

The hotel is in a pretty convenient place for getting places, as it’s pretty close to a transit stop. No A/C in my room and the road noise was too loud to keep the window open, but did get a small (though also loud) floor fan when I asked.

Wohlfühliges Preisleistungsverhältnis !

Da ich Frankfurt und die Ortslage des Hotels Mercator kenne ist diese absolut empfehlenswert. Nach allen Himmelsrichtungen sowohl Einkaufsmöglichen als auch internationale Lokalitäten, Kneipen, Cafes, Bioläden, U-Bahn, Bus, Straßenbahn und rasche Anbindung zur Autobahn. Freundliches Personal. Sehr angenehm empfanden wir das ein Wasserkocher/Gläser/Teebeutel, kleiner Kühlschrank sowie für heiße Tage auch ein Ventilator zum Inventar zählten - sehr aufmerksam insgesamt - ergo: PRIMA Aufenthalt & Service!

The property was clean and tidy. Nothing special or spectacular but had all the necessary amenities. The 10€ breakfast was worth the price as it was plentiful and quality. Room service was Adequate and prompt. Overall, a good experience at a Bargain price.

This hotel has small but clean rooms and is in a good location. It's an easy walk to the Innenstadt area and the river (approx. 25-30 minutes), and about 10-15 minutes walk to the Merianplatz area with cafes and restaurants. There's a Rewe supermarket around the corner to get supplies and there are 2 U-stations also within walking distance. Friendly staff. It's a little small for families but perfect for business/solo travelers and couples.Would stay here again.

Das hotel ist renovierungsbedürftig. Wasserschaden bei ankunft, keine möglichkeit zum waschen, keine entschädigung. Außer ein getränk. Wasserkocher auf zimmer mit defektem kabel. Kupfer zu sehen. Kühlschrank laut und matratzen durchgelegen und unterschiedlich hoch. Steckdosen frei. Personal und lage aber top.

Preisleistung sehr gut, günstig, dafür kleines zimmer, "wenig" komfort aber sauber und alles funktionstüchtig! Bett war gemütlich, kissen okay, ruhige gegend und cafes in der nöheren umgebung. Stadt fussläufig in 10 min erreichbar! Ich fands super!

A good three star hotel

First looks are not impressive, the Mercator is the ugliest building in its street, but do not be put off. The hotel is in a quiet area, with only a little noise from the odd passing car, so light sleepers will appreciate. Very much a three star hotel with little pretension to be anything else, but unlike many 4 star hotels, it has a homely feel. Very convenient for the charming and equally homely Berger Strasse area and not too far from City centre, which is walkable for anyone who is fit.

vriendelijkheid voor de dame aan de receptie MOET

Dag/receptioniste ongeinteresseerd onvriendelijk. Avond-receptionist wel heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Zou graag badkuip voor een douche willen ruilen ivm leeftijd. Ik durf met een nieuwe knie de badkuip niet in te stappen.
