"The receptionist was poor - did not speak clearly, poor attitude, not friendly or even a smile. She seemed to be occasionally conversing with friends. It seemed as though she was not managed well. The restaurant was completely different. The waiter was excellent and very friendly and welcoming. It was a chef who was filling in as a waiter - great service and attitude. The rooms were very clean and it was appreciated."

"The stay was nice. Friendly staff. For breakfast you had a choice of pancakes, muffins fruits, sausage biscuits and coffee. I just wish all rooms wasn't pet friendly. My wife had allergies the whole stay. Besides that everything else was awesome "

"We stayed in the historic building in March and absolutely loved the charm and character of the property. The building itself is beautiful and added a unique touch to the experience. During our stay we really enjoyed spending time at the beach, relaxing by the pool and hot tub, sitting on the swings, and having meals poolside. It made for a wonderful, relaxing weekend getaway. The only small downside was that the room didn’t have a smart TV or the built-in charging stations we’ve become used to in many newer facilities. If you rely on those, it’s a good idea to bring your own full charger setup for phones, tablets, etc. That said, it actually encouraged us to spend less time in the room and more time enjoying everything the property had to offer. In the end, that turned out to be a much better way to spend the weekend. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return. "
