Great for a getaway!

At the time of our stay there was some work being done to the outside of the building. Lobby was clean and well maintained. Room was clean and bed was comfy.

The rooms were quiet and safe. Sorely disappointed that the pool wasn’t running. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was sufficient. Room was clean, older but clean. Beds not the most comfortable but slept well because room was quiet.

Great experience for the low price. Bed was comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed the pool. Breakfast is very basic, but that's expected with the low rates. Would definitely stay again.

Rooms Definitely need updating. Bathroom was grungy and was missing grout surrounding about 1/4 of the tiles. Front desk employee was pretty rude on more than one occasion. There was however a very helpful front desk employee on the 2nd day of our stay. Pool was nice and I do think they are in the process of updating the outside at least so maybe the inside will be next.

Ramada Decatur IL

Good economic choice if you’re traveling. Breakfast was mediocre. My room has problem with air and heat was stuck on. Going into the room in evenings was like walking into the gates of hell. Bed was comfortable. Hotel is kind of aged but other than the air in one room having issues (other room I had did not have this issue). I would return on personal travels.

It was a good place to stay for the one night we needed it. The carpet could use a vacuum cleaner, and there were some pieces of garbage laying around. Room was comfortable otherwise. Bed was good, we did not try their breakfast.

Screens torn, windows damaged, water damage in hallways, mold smell, missing or damaged drywall, ourtside mattresses by dumpster and upkeep of outside was poor, missing awnings. People were polite and friendly, bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable.

This property was $350 a night. The room carpet was very dirty, the walls where gouged with huge paint scrapes and there where water stains on the hallway wall. I took pictures because I couldn't believe it. The room is worth about $50 a night.

Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable

This modestly priced stay was all we needed. Yes, the facilities are dated, but the room was clean, and the desk manager was helpful. There was also an indoor pool that was available. The bed was a little firm for my taste, and the breakfast was simply cereal, waffle, or oatmeal. No hot foods like eggs, etc. Even so, I ate my fill of Frosted Flakes! No real complaints. We just needed a place to sleep and this did the trick. We would stay again.

Decent

The pros: room was ready on time, pool was warm, no bugs or bedbugs were found, and there was breakfast, shower gets hot. No major issues. There's some pretty good by nearby and it wasn't super pricey. Cons: This place needs renovation. Carpet was dirty and stained, several outlets either didn't work or barely worked, tub was glued back together, there was a spider web on the wall thst had been there for who knows how long. Breakfast was super basic. No juice just water and coffee, muffins, a waffle maker, milk, cereal, and room temperature biscuits and gravy.
