Lovely place to stay

The room was very comfortable and nicely set up. The paintings throughout are beautfiul. Location - close enough to walk to whatever you want to see, but not in the crowd of tourists. Lovely

A beautiful hotel in an excellent location! The rooms were very clean and spacious. The design of the hotel is stunning, with a charming roof terrace and lovely lounge room, where breakfast is served. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely stay here again!

From the complimentary bottle of wine to the prompt service with any needs, an iron, a call for a taxi, replacement items with the room, everything here feels personal. The breakfast in the mornings is plentiful and delicious, again with attentive and exceptional service! We would highly recommend this be your home base for a stay in Florence!

Fantastic hotel

Wonderful stay! This hotel was extremely comfortable, small and secluded away from the busy town centre, which was a 15 minute walk away. We would highly recommend 4F for comfort, and the staff were wonderful. The breakfast was excellent and varied.

Lovely quiet friendly central spot

Great location, short walk to train station, right om the river. Central but very quiet location. Lovely room, great service, excellent coffee to go with a delicious breakfast, sadly only one night and secondly sad not to read the full breakfast menu! Lots of choice but one of best all the same, loved the staircase, 5 star spot

Amazing Stay!

The 4F Hotel in Florence is a quaint, beautiful boutique hotel located within walking distance of the heart of Florence, yet set apart from the more crowded tourist areas. The room was stunning and the staff were very kind. It is located in an embassy building and alongside a row of embassies overlooking the river.

This hotel is very cute, and nice located. The breakfast is very nice. Room space is ok. Very clean. The only issue is the smell coming out from the bathroom which is probably because of the pipes or sewer.

Hidden Gem in Firenze

This has been the best hotel I have stayed in while visiting Florence. The staff goes completely out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms are large for European standards and super comfortable. Breakfast is great and they also have additional options. Waking up and having breakfast with a beautiful Tuscan view is priceless.

I Fell in Love with This Little Gem!

What not to love about the 4F? This beautifully designed and appointed quiet boutique hotel overlooks the Arno River. It sits just a few blocks outside the tourist zone and is worth the extra five-minute walk. Our room was extremely large compared to a typical European hotel room, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable, too. In the morning, you can have eggs or crepes prepared to your liking, as well as having a variety of fresh and delicious pastries, bread, cheeses, and fruits. The pistachio yogurt was amazing! Besides being a beautiful and comfortable boutique hotel, the 4F staff was extremely kind, helpful, and accommodating with our questions or needs. I look forward to returning to the 4F the next time I am in Florence.

The staff were hit and miss ,you asked for tea they gave tepid water one bag of tea . The breakfast room was hotel foyer low tables and limited choce of breakfast . But for 5 days one could suffer this . The room we had had no storage place for clothes just rack and shelves. No tv . It was clean and pleasant.

On the day of check-in, reception did not answer the phone when we called to reconfirm leaving Milan for Florence. When we got in around 10pm, nobody answered any of the doorbells and ultimately other hotel guests let us in. The hotel is on the 4th floor of a building shared with s consulate. It’s beautiful, on the Arno, and decor and cleanliness were 10 out of 10. The room and bathroom were huge. The bathroom was unexplainably hot all the time. The room was hard to cool beyond 80° but this was during an August heat wave. We did not make a fuss about the lack of adequate AC as nothing likely could be done. The breakfasts included were very nice. I would recommend the hotel but again, getting a hold of reception was the trickiest part!
