"We were in town for a funeral. I called to book 2 adjoining rooms. I was told to make the reservation online for 2 rooms, both with queen beds and then call back. I did that even though I would have preferred one room with a king, and one room with 2 queens. There were "notes put on our reservation" but when we got there we were told there were no adjoining rooms. So I said, well then I want a king room instead of one of the double queens I was told that I HAD to book to get my adjoining rooms....

"It is a brand new very nice property and the breakfast was great. There is a Caribou Coffee next to it and a Casey's just a block away. Shopping is close too and if your car is a little older, your GPS may not find it!"

The bathroom towels were filthy, and the toilet bowl had stains that made the space feel unhygienic. Even the AC unit had food particles stuck inside it. "By the time I went down for breakfast at 8:15am, most of the available items were gone. I suggest more coffee in the rooms. 2 tiny cups are just not enough. Couldn't get the TV to work. Remote wouldn't change channels or anything."

"We were in a non-smoking room as was the room across from us, but someone in that room smoked constantly. The smell in the hall was overpowering, and it came drifting into our room whenever we opened the door. The elevators were very creaky and smelled bad. This hotel needs a MAJOR upgrade. An outdated feel, musty smell. Probably will never stay here again"
