While you do pay for it, you do have dedicated underground parking that is handy in a downtown area with limited street parking. "My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay at the Lord Nelson Hotel and Suites. Though clearly an older hotel, has been extremely well maintained. Stepping into the lobby with its wood paneling and chandeliers is a bit like traveling back in time to the mid 1900's. It is conveniently located across the street from the Halifax Public Gardens and within walking distance of the Halifax Citadel.
