"Beautiful property in the heart of Assisi. We stayed here after completing the Via di Francesco and they were very accommodating. The hotel is very comfortable with fashionable modern touches. Great breakfast with eggs (which we had been craving). "

"What a GEM of a place! The gentlemen at the BnB was kind and works really hard to keep this place in tip top shape. He is kind, welcoming, and very helpful. The BnB is very clean and comfortable, everything we expected and more. I wished we had plan a day or two longer in Assisi, we would have been at home here. I hope to return to Assisi in the future and given the amazing stay and great hospitality we were shown, I would choose and recommend Alter Ego again and again! Bravo SIR, you are doing...

"The location was pretty good and the staff was very friendly. My only critiques would be that there was no a/c. A fan would have really helped. I opened my windows a little but there was a pigeon who sat outside my bathroom window at night so I couldn't open it very wide. Also, they should probably spend a little money and update the sheets and comforter which were not soft at all. But given the price, location, and staff, I would consider staying here again. "

"All staff were helpful. Has 2 restaurants one like a “proper” restaurant and the other more like a pizzeria/bar. Both very good. The hotel is sited just a short walk from all the main areas to visit. And not very far from where to take a bus. Taxi access to hotel door. Internet works well. A good value for money hotel. Would stay again quite happily."
