Beautiful hotel in Valle de Guadalupe. Lovely with breakfast baskets and generally the concept of the room with a little kitchen, well stocked bar/fridge, jacuzzi and sauma is great.

Breathtaking from the moment you see the property perched high on the hills and peeking out of the boulders. You are greeted with and treated with 5-star hospitality, shown to your room and introduced to breathtaking views. This is truly a magical hideaway in the hills.

The hotel itself is spectacular and has great potential. However, although they present themselves as a "retreat," this is the only hotel that I saw that has high-power speakers in the rooms and instructs the guests at check-in on how to use them to annoy the neighbors. Connection with nature, built into nature, stone and wood, but noise pollution without restrictions. They also do not enforce, or they can't enforce, the "silent" hours. We booked 3 nights, but we left the second day as we were not in the party mood day and night.

The hotel is horrible at replying to messages. I send them 5 messages and never got a response. Expedia tried helping me and never got a solid answer to reschedule my stay. I called and they promised to change it and never did and then charged me for the full amount.

My stay at Mira was exceptional except for an experience we had at the pool with one staff member. We were two couples, a group of four and we all had a great time. The hotel is beautiful, clean and quiet, the rooms have all the amenities (mini bar has extra charge). The check in was smooth and the Janet (i think that’s her name) she was very polite and very friendly. Now, I would have given this hotel 5 stars if it wasn’t for how rude Ema at the pool was with our group. We felt unwelcome the minute we sat by the pool. Ema was talking and serving all the guests around us, except us. We had to call her every time we wanted a drink, a couple of times we had to go to the bar to order drinks because she wouldn’t even look at us. There was another guy that started picking up our glasses and we started ordering from him. His name is Andrew that’s your guy at the pool. Very nice and friendly.
