"While the staff was very friendly and helpful. This place is absolutely not prepared to host guests. It is listed as a resort however, there is only one villa that is actually completed and the rest of the property is very, very much a work in progress. All of the other villas are incomplete and even the road leading up to the property is not paved. There is only one section of paved road right next to the only completed villa. "The bedside lamp doubles as a phone charger and has a switch so you don’t have to get up to turn it off. Small thing, but I loved it and slept better than I have in a long time. The sea view room faces Bacuit Bay. It’s close to the port, so it’s a sea view but not quite a beach view. The hotel can arrange motorbike rentals and island hopping tours, though there’s no breakfast included. All things considered, Z Garden was the most comfortable place we stayed during our entire El Nido trip."

"The hotel was conveniently located two blocks from the beach with a roof-top bar that overlooks the bay. The staff was over-the-top accommodating, food was great and 2 for 1 happy hour drinks. TV was modern with streaming, internet was reliable. The room was comfortable and clean. Downsides, coffee maker in the room didn't work (but in all fairness we forgot to mention it), bed wasn't super comfortable, rooftop bar wifi disconnects you hourly, and parking was scarce but they valet for you if...
