"After we booked, and paid for, a room the hotel sent us a message saying (in Spanish - which I was able to translate because of a basic knowledge of the language) that the hotel was closed because of water inundation. They followed up with a shorter message simply saying that the hotel was closed. So, we had to find another hotel at short notice. The hotel should not have been listed as available."

"We recently stayed at Estrellas de Gredos and were really disappointed. The place has stunning mountain views and a traditional curved ceiling, but a lot of things went wrong. La pega es que las instalaciones estan mal cuidadas. Las tablas del suelo estan levantadas y la puerta de entrada de la habitacion estaba descolgada. Es muy caro para tener ese tipo de defectos"
