Brilliant location for Düsseldorf Central and the Messe exhibition hall, lovely room with free hot drinks (if you didn't want to sit for breakfast) and the lady at reception was fantastic at helping me retrieve my lost luggage from the airport. Would recommend!

The room was clean. Staffs are very kind and helpful. Even when I was late for check out, they just gave me a spare time to leave the room. Breakfast is nice. I can recommend Rugs hotel to other tourists. You will be satisfied their service and hospitality.

I was in Germany to meet friends and choose to stay at this Hotel as I've stayed here before. The Hotel is ideally located for getting to The Alstadt, other nearby attractions and the Main Station. The Staff at the Hotel are always very cheerie and willing to help you and this is a great reason for staying here.

Visit to see Old Friends

I came to visit friends and have stayed here many times before and as always I was greeted by the brilliant reception staff. I have enjoyed the spacious room and the quietness of the location which is near but far enough away from the main road not to be disturbed by traffic noise or late night revellers. I would thoroughly recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Good for value

Overall a decent hotel for short stay. The room itself is a bite dated but it is clean. The water pressure is a bit weak but considering the price i would say it is good for value and I cant complain. The reception lady is really kind and helpful, she is very patient and explained everything in details.

A very basic hotel. A bit outdated, but everything is in good repair. The stuff was helpful and friendly. The stay had a personal feel to it. Like staying at someone’s place. I enjoyed it. The only thing I gave four stars is the bed. The mattress was very hard. Will tray again.

1. No check-in staff available when I arrived just after 10pm. 2. Room was not cleaned 3. WiFi was terrible. I could not work at the hotel as planned. When I asked the receptionist I was advised “weather has caused the WiFi issue, and this is German WiFi”. 4. Room was too warm. Even with the windows open and desk fan blowing.

Good value for money

Good value for monay but not the most charming setting. A fairly short walk to the downtown areas though so for a short stopover in Düsseldorf I would recommend it.

Great for solo trips!

I stayed 2 nights, it was a clean room within a quiet neighbourhood. It was close to the central area. I think it is a great place to stay especially if you are travelling on your own. For this price, I don't think you can find anything better.

I had a great stay in Hotel Batavia. Good customer service at the reception and great communication with them A+++. The hotel is near the Train station. The room was good, I was only disappointed because there is no AC in the room.

It was close to a busy street and not far from the Central Station. It could be an issue if you are looking for a quiet place. (I had the streetside) The bed was excellent and the floor had an wooden one. The bathroom was basic but modern. It even got a small fridge. The essentials are good!! The elevator is very small/ narrow It could be a issue if you have a room on the 6th floor.

First the hotel signs was from another hotel. When checking in I was told that hotel had no 24/7 service after 21.30 I would have to walk in thruu a special gate/door using my key card. When comin to the hotel at 22 my key card did not work and no oe was answering the phone. After waiting outside for quite a while I could come in to the hotel by joining another guest that had a functional key card. But my card did not work at my hotel room. I sat down on floor outside the room trying to get comfoatable and frequently trying to call on the reception number. After a couple of hours I had to start saving battery. But when hearing som noice that indicated some kind of work I did a try and a guy answered and could help me with a functional key card. Never Rugs again.

Kamer was prima, badkamer netjes en schoon. Inchecken met code werkt goed, erg makkelijk. Gebouw is wat oud en de lift klein. Maar het ontbijt was prima geregeld. En heel vriendelijk personeel.
