"Bis mir jemand öffnete, dauerte es 20 Minuten und es war nur Zufall, daß ich entdeckt wurde. Auf meine Telefonate reagierte niemand, niemand nahm ab. Die Mitarbeiter/innen bewergten sich bis auf eine ohne Maske im ganzen Hotel. Mein Zimmer (5) hatte eine durchgängig schimmlige Geruchsnote. "Älteres Hotel, könnte schön sein aber schlecht geführt. Schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Personal ist freundlich aber völlig unqualifiziert. Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig, v.a. Badfliesen, -fugen. Diverse Einrichtungselemente defekt: Duschhebel, Armaturen, Steckdose, Licht. Reparatur erst am nächsten Tag. "Da wir die Übernachtung mit Besuch im naheliegenden GOP genutzt haben und mit Besuch in Oberhausen war das Hotel für uns topp von der Lage. Das Hotel selbst mit Sauberkeit u Freundlichkeit des Personals war auch topp. Die einzige Beanstandung haben wir bzgl des Zustellbettes, was ein ausklappbarer Sessel gewesen ist. Dieser war so hart, daß wir unsere Kopfkissen als Matratzenaufpolsterung genommen haben. "

"The rooms and hotel are from the 70's !! Old furniture, old TV, old wardrobe with a hanging door, double bed is two beds pushed together and of course they move apart ! If this hotel would have been priced at 65 -80 euro a night it might be an option but for 140 Euro a night and what you get "totally" overpriced ."

"Breakfast buffet was great! One of the elevators was not working which made elevators in the morning a slog. You can use the emergency exit stairs, but be warned that they route you outside. The stairs near room X08 drop you fairly close to the front door. The other stairs send you to the loading dock on the back side. :) Room could have used a bit more light at night, but was workable. The step into / out of the shower is big! Americans be warned. :) Otherwise the shower was very nice. High flow. Good hot water. We were there for Essen Spiel. There weren't great options for game playing tables. A friend was staying at the Garner IHG hotel in Bochum where the restaurant was welcoming to late night gaming and had good tables and good food/drink service."
