I would call this a little hidden gem in a busy area. The hotel is very quaint and so pretty.
The owner could not have been more helpful and kind. The mini bar is free and there were snacks available in the room.
It’s a 10 min taxi from the airport.
I would highly recommend and will definitely be stopping over for any future flights from Bangkok ❤️

The best pet friendly place near the airport! Peter was very kind to us. He provided free water, late check out, a cat litter tray, dog toys and allowed us to store the dog cage in the lobby instead of bringing it to the room. Our room was very spacious, enough for two adults, three cats and two dogs. Great AC, clean bathroom, comfy bed and a lot of storage space together with Peter's welcoming way of being made our stay really nice. The street is normally quiet with a local restaurant and 7...

The biggest downfall of this hotel is no airport pick up drop off as it is quite a walk which I wouldn’t want to do again because there are other hotels in much nearer but I couldn’t afford the hotel itself

The hostel is located about a 5 mins walk from Don Mueang station and maybe another 5 for the airport. Not many shops, but lots of eateries close by. It takes about 40-60 minutes to get into central Bangkok depending where you want to go.
Check-in was quick and straightforward, with the staff explaining the rules. The dorm was on the 4th floor. There’s no lift and the 4 flights of steps are steep.
The dorm had 12 beds, each had a private locker and the hotel also provided the padlock. The...

This hotel is new to Expedia, so I wasn't sure what to expect without review. I was SO pleasantly surprised! My stay at Mont Place was wonderful.
My room and bathroom were the most clean of any hotel I've stayed at in Bangkok, the a/c worked perfectly, and the shower was hot and had great pressure (plus the showerhead has both a handheld and overhead option—heaven!).
The staff were also very friendly and helpful. They were able to change my big bills so I could eat at the little food stands...

About Don Muang Chang Wattana
The northern Bangkok district of Don Muang Chang Wattana is a large administrative and residential part of the city. There are plenty of landmarks located throughout the district; however, not many of these are designed to entertain tourists. Don Muang Airport is now only used for non-connecting domestic routes, and Chang Wattana is mostly renowned for the Impact Arena, which is Bangkok’s largest convention and exhibition complex.
Don’t MissThere are not too many landmarks found within the Don Muang and Chang Wattana district, so tourists will have to do their research before exploring.
While in this district, visitors should not miss an opportunity to see the Royal Thai Air Museum. It sits next to Kantarat Golf Course, on the Don Muang Airport premises. In this museum visitors can find some very well preserved aircraft, including those formerly used during wartime. In addition, guests can get a closer look at Thailand’s interesting aviation history.
Just a short distance from this district is the renowned Chatuchak Weekend Market. This large open market welcomes many thousands of visitors each weekend, who come to find clothes, plants, accessories, bags, food and produce at discounted prices. It’s only about five kilometres from Don Muang Airport, so taxi rides to and from Chatuchak Market are quick and inexpensive.
Another landmark found within the Don Muang Chang Wattana district is the IMPACT Arena. The complex includes several major event halls and buildings that regularly host concerts, performances and sporting events. It’s located on Chang Wattana Road, but can also be reached via an expressway.
Restaurants and BarsDon Muang Chang Wattana is not well-known for its drinking venues. Visitors can find a few new trendy spots closer to Chatuchak Market. There are several hotels in the Don Muang area which formerly catered for the busy airport crowd. Nowadays, they are much quieter, but still offer dining options for guests. Local restaurants, both indoor and street-stall styles are available along the main roads throughout this district.
ShoppingThere isn’t much in the way of shopping in this district, outside of Central Plaza Chang Wattana. This large department store is a modern complex that boasts a huge range of electronic and clothing retailers, not to mention plenty of entertainment and dining facilities too.
