"The toilet was so high up i couldn't do a sh*t. I'm six foot tall, but when I was sat on the toilet my feet were not touching the ground. "Nice locations. Near the train station and tram spot within a 5 minute walk. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. The on site restaurant was quite good as well. Check in was easy and they have AC which was great as the weather was unseasonably warm. The only down side was noise. Wanting to stay in a hotel a bit outside the busy areas in a quieter neighbourhood so it would be less noisy didn’t work out. The hotel doors slam closed so if someone leaves or comes back at 3 in your hallway you’re going to know about it. We also had to move rooms as we were near a loading dock and they received deliveries at 6am everyday so we were woken up early everyday. If your a deep sleeper or sleep with ear plugs your probably good. The beds were comfy and it’s pretty updated. Bathroom could use a little love as the toilet had some chips and marks, same with the bathtub. I would stay again but maybe on a higher floor then the 1st"

"I liked the restaurant/bar area with lovely views over Edinburgh. Free parking is great and a great bust service to most places. A nice walk into the centre and The Castle. 20 mins walk to Morningside/Bruntsfield where there are lovely places to eat, have coffee/cocktails. Downside are the rooms, which are very tired and in need of renovation. I believe this is going to happen. Grand old building"

"We found the place easily. Parking was fine. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was small but fine for a night. The bed though was made with an old, dainty iron frame. It creaked a lot at the slight movement. Public transportation is nearby. We even walked back from downtown Edinburgh."

"Very good hotel with good housekeeping. Very friendly staff and nice amenities such as the pool/sauna area incl vapor sauna. About 20 mins from the old town area, which we found all ok (car or bus easy access). The Delta hotel accepted a small pet which is a clear positive aspect in an environment of ever increasing rejection of pets. Recommended."
