Hotel Montchapet was a great find in visiting Dijon. It's on a quieter street a few minutes from the centre ville and the start of the route de la Chouette. I arrived before check in and the clerk let me drop my baggage off and then immediately printed off a city map and showed me various places of interest for me to explore on my first trip to the city. When I got back that evening, the staff checked me in quickly and efficiently. The room itself was comfortable and fairly spacious. The bathroom shower was a little cramped for me, but that's par for the course in French hotels. Generally a lovely stay in a nice location. Would come back.

The Front Desk person, I did'nt get his name... he was so friendly, so helpful and accommodating. The 5pm check in is a bit off putting as there is no one at the property prior to 5pm, and you have to stand outside till someone comes at 5pm to open the door.

Quaint and calm hotel in Dijon

Quaint hotel in Dijon. Very friendly staff. Beware of the step when coming in: The lights are very strange and I fell on the floor with all my luggage! Otherwise, all is perfect.

Prijs kwaliteit een goed hotel! Propere en ruime kamer, badkamer eerder kleine kant met wc, douche en 1 wasbak. In de kamer is er geen kast, dus opbergen van kledij minder evident maar we verbleven er één nacht op doorreis dus dit was geen probleem. Bij aankomst s'avonds was het even zoeken naar een parkeerplaats in de omgeving en gevonden. Op aanraden onthaal hebben we onze bagage uit de auto gehaald en in een bergplaats in hotel kunnen zetten. Kamer heeft rolluiken dus goede verduistering. Vriendelijk onthaal en de dame heeft op onze vraag nog enkele croissants extra gebakken. Ontbijt is relatief eenvoudig maar zeker voldoende, en zeker voor de prijs van 11 euro!

très belle surprise que cet établissement très bien tenu, avec un accueil réactif , super , disponible, et avec le SOURIRE. Bra för en natt eller två!

Det fanns vad man behöver för en natt och läget var bra gångavstånd till Les Halles område med massor av restauranger. Perfekt promenad som var utmärkt med små symboler att följa för att gå en promenad och få se alla sevärdheter vilket var en fantastisk upplevelse! Frukosten var minimal och inte värt pengarna. Duschen var riktigt dålig hård stråle och ont om varmvatten.
