"This is my go-to hotel in Markham. It has everything I need for business travel, the rooms are great, everything works, a very decent buffet breakfast is included, and usually very decent pricing."

"The pull out bed in the “suite” was broken, and I had to go ask for bedding, then make the bed myself. When I wanted to change rooms that was going to be difficult, however after much discussion and reiterating the bed was broken, we got a move. I think we were on the third floor team section, as the carpets were disgusting, the couch stained, the wall paper peeling. We were moved higher up in the building, and although not great, much better. Expedia pricing gets you the well used third...

"Left something in my room and when I called a few days later they didn’t have it so house cleaning threw it out or kept it"

"some of the staff were not pleasant at all accusing us of smoking in the room, which we weren’t but refused to come to my room. I called Expedia for help and didn’t get any. The breakfast does not include eggs, bacon or hashbrowns. You have to pay extra if you want these items, there was hair that came out of the hot tub it was disgusting. The carpets are very old and worn out not a pleasant stay"

"Room is impeccably clean and nice. But nobody answers the phone in front desk, housekeeping, everything! Huge living room but can’t afford to have microwave inside the room, there’s only one old microwave at the lobby. No signage or anything as to where you can find amenities, you have to figure it or ask around. Kinda disappoints for 4-start expensive hotel."

"Use side doors to access your rooms so you have ramps in case you have alot of luggage or if you have a stroller. You have to go up 2-3 to get into lobby otherwise"

"Everything was great, but them having a charge for parking and wanting money for the bottle of water left in the room is petty. The day before we stayed at a different chain and there were no charges for the above mentioned. Expedia didn’t mention these things in the initial purchase of the room. If I had known this I would have stayed somewhere else. Probably will not return to this chain of hotels because there are a lot more option that don’t have these up charges."
