The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide array of choices from different cuisines, so there was something for everyone. "This was the second location I stayed at in Labuan Bajo. The location is conveniently located and overall spectacular. Only downside is it's noisy. My first few nights were on the beach in a more secluded area. Just depends on what you are looking for"

"The 2 bedroom villa we got was right on the beach and extremely comfortable! Plataran prides itself for old world luxury and it never fails to deliver! We were thoroughly spoilt by the Plataran team and can’t wait to go back!"

"An ok stay for one night before joining a boat excursion. Staff friendly and helpful. Just be prepared that it is right along the road and is noisy late into the night and from early in the morning. This does make it convenient for local food and drink options. They provide ear plugs in the room and the sound proofing is fairly effective. It was perfectly comfortable for a night, AC good, bed comfortable. Probably wouldn’t choose to stay again unless for a short stopover due to its convenient...

"We had three nights stay, following 3 nights at the sister resort - Sudamala Komodo. Both resorts are fantastic and highly recommended but this was our favourite. A tropical island with a reef full with fish. We also had days trips to Komodo and diving which were great experiences. The food is lovely. "We booked two rooms for 1 night as we have an excursion the next day. We booked mainly because the reviews were good and they had airport transportation to give us the ease of getting to the hotel. However, even after confirming time and flight information and us giving them notification when we landed and they confirmed someone’s waiting for us at the airport no one came. But when I enter to the room, I saw 3 bad things. 1st the sink had a quire big fracture. 2nd the toilet was very terrible. 3rd I saw a blood stain on the blanket. "I stayed here with my son last week. The hotel is in a perfect location, right in town close to great places for dinner and tour bookings. The hotel is very clean and neat with an incredible view of the harbour from the pool area. The hotel staff are SO lovely and helpful. We had to order breakfast online each day and indicate the time.
