"Convenient location, right downtown. Rooms on river side have views of Lowell Park, St. Croix River and the lift bridge. Rooftop restaurant and the Irish Pub at street level are both good. The rooms are spacious and very clean, comfy mattress and offer a variety of pillows so you can find one that suits. The balcony windows and chair cushions could've been cleaner, but they were acceptable."

"The receptionist was great and very kind! But my room smelled bad, the beds were insanely small, and the shower water NEVER GOT WARM. It was freezing cold my whole stay."

"Highly recommend and we will be back! We stayed two nights to celebrate our wedding and the rooftop hotel was absolutely incredible after a long day and night on our feet! We were surprised with a bottle of wine in our room and a note to congratulate us! We booked a suite and it was perfect for getting ready with tons of natural light!"

"Friendly staff, extremely comfortable beds. Gym cable machine has been broken for months. Hair dryer didn’t work in our room."

"Staff at check in was very friendly. But the check out was disturbing. At about 10 am fire alarms went off every minute for an hour. They did a fire inspection while guests were still sleeping. My daughter is SIX years old, she was terrified by the loud alarms. We had ro pack up and leave quickly as they continued. Staff ran around looking unapologetic, as if every day for them. So thst was disappointing. Now, I have what I assume is a $100 deposit taken from my debit that hasn't been returned...

"Bathroom mirror was missing. Vanity was very short, 30 inches tall. Unpleasant odor to room. Temperature were 90 degrees, AC kept up nicely. It was in a good location and bed was ok."

"The bed was comfortable and the hot breakfast was fine. There were a few minor repairs needed in the room, like torn Formica on the night tables. My key card malfunctioned several times but the staff quickly fixed that. I wish there had been a few hooks in the bathroom. And an alarm clock and a TV guide."

"The room was clean. The staff was friendly. The food was excellent, but isn’t that what we expect from the hotels we stand and if that is the standard then this is the review. The only concern with the hotels in Stillwater downtown is the pricing they feel that they could charge and that should be reviewed as they are too high."

"I absolutely love this hidden gem!!! Staff is so kind and helpful, they never hesitate to make sure our stay is as comfortable as possible!!!! Breakfast was yuuuummmmmy!!!! Egg rounds and sausage, breads, cereal, hardboiled eggs, some days biscuits and gravy (all days fried potatoes, just microwave them a smidge bit and they'll be perfect!)... Bath towels were the softest and best I've EVER experienced at a hotel! Hubby and 5 y/o (on the spectrum) had a BLAST in the pool! they have an outside...

"Check in was easy, although no elevator to the 2nd floor which.may sound petty but can be many trips back and forth to your car. The room was clean, bed comfortable. The only complaint is the water pressure in the shower was low.. Coffee was good, breakfast ok, nothing spectacular."
