This hotel is situated just outside Moshi - about a 10-minute taxi ride costing 10,000 - 15,000 Shilling.
There isn't much outside the actual hotel grounds so if you want the town aspect or want more places to eat you will need to visit Moshi.

Peaceful spot just outside Arusha, with lots of monkeys hanging around outside to watch as you chill with a drink. The pool was lovely and the whole place has a premium feel with great service. Would definitely come back - this was the perfect start to my safari hol as a solo 30yo female traveller :)

We were so glad we booked this brilliant lodge for the beginning and end of our amazing Tanzanian trip.
Harry and his partner should be congratulated on how beautiful the grounds are, for how well furnished the rooms are and for how well run the lodge is.
The staff at reception and in the restaurant were outstanding and the quality of the food was excellent.
Also having the beautiful gardens to wander around watching the wild birds and three species of monkey was unforgettable.

Nice hotel, with a decent size room and a good enclosed balcony. Good shower, but it is a wet room, so everything got wet when you used it. The staff is very nice. There is a restaurant with good food at fair prices. You can see Kilimanjaro here on a clear day.

The Giraffe Lodge Arusha is excellent value for money and the staff are incredibly friendly. We spent the night here before an early morning flight to Zanzibar (only 10 minutes to the airport which is one of its big plus points). We had dinner and watched Tanzania play a football match with a bar full of locals which was a great experience. The food is really good (dinner and breakfast), the room was clean and the staff could not do enough for us It is a real local’s area which we love away...
