Brilliant modern hotel next to the airport Food is okay nothing special.

What a lucky find, especially as we do not play golf! We chose the hotel based on reviews and location, and were not disappointed. Modern, well appointed, friendly staff, outstanding breakfast, nice restaurant (we had dinner there both nights; very relaxing) - and it's close to Riga airport We enjoyed our stay and would return. The surroundings are heavenly. We spent a night only and could not experience the spa , the food presentation and taste were super. I could spend days just to soak in the beautiful surroundings.

Excellent hotel near the old town & everything within walking distance. Was here over new year. Disappointed that the bar was closed by 12.30 on New Year’s Eve. Breakfast was excellent but the plates were cold everything you would want for breakfast was there. Spa was excellent first day was so busy so we decided to go after breakfast about 9 am & in the evening about 8 was quiet. & more manageable a lot of kids in during the day. Will definitely go back here.

The Konventa Sēta Hotel is centrally located. 35mins from the airport using bus 22. We got off at the first stop after crossing the bridge (bibliotecka - library) and we used Google maps to check we were heading in the right direction and to locate the hotel. It was a short 10mins walk. The hotel is situated in the old part of the city, the beautifully cobble streets just adds to the overall attractiveness. Really high-spec hotel and room. All beautifully decorated and presented, including public areas. Young staff on reception were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Our twin apartment was small but top notch and very well equipped. It was handy to be able to get extra items such as pillows, toaster and iron from reception. On first impressions the area this side of the station where the hotel is located was not very nice. However, it was in fact safe and interesting, especially the markets....

2nd visit to the hotel. Very nice, large, well appointed room. Fantastic breakfast spread, didn't have time to use the spa facilities. Hotel is in a good position for the Old Town and restaurants, also airport bus stop very close. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel- they just get everything right, even dealing with problems. At one point we were miscommunicated breakfast time but the staff were so fantastic at dealing with the problem by ensuring that we were looked after that it not only wasn’t a problem - it was turned into a big positive. They take customer service very seriously. Excellent experience all round - other hotels could learn a lot. Great food. Lovely location. And very quiet l. All round well done !
