"Check in staff were great and allowed us to check in early which was great, however the staff and service at the restaurant was just terrible overall, so I’ll leave it at that. Overall the hotel is showing its age and is obviously due for an upgrade/ refresh. Definitely not up to “Sheraton” standards that’s for sure. It’s definitely not the same Hotel Newfoundland it used to be that’s for sure."

"What a gem this is! Located on a beautiful property on Pistolet Bay and just a few minutes outside St. Anthony, making it an ideal location. The rooms are clean, with comfortable and decorated areas. Continental breakfast and very friendly owners made this a great experience. Would definitely recommend this to anyone heading to or staying around St. Anthony, NF. Even managed to see 3 beautiful moose on the way into the lodge and n the evening."

"Stuff was supper friendly and helpful! We for got some stuff in our room, called the next day and they had it for us waiting at the front desk! Would recommend staying here for sure and the airport shuttle driver was friendly and also took us back to the airport next morning to get our rental car!!"

"The checkin staff were great. We got there early and although the room was not yet ready they called as soon as it was.
The hotel is a but retro/dated but clean and well maintained. Excellent location.
Breakfast was a bit difficult. The staff seemed overwhelmed. We asked 3 times for the coffee to come. There was no toast,
sausages or bacon at the buffet and when we asked it took a long time to be replenished. There seemed to be a lot of staff but maybe young and inexperienced as they didnt...
