It’s very simple. This is a superb hotel in a wonderful location. So relaxed, so friendly and the food is delicious. The staff could not be better. It’s every bit as good as the photos!

Good value property with friendly staff

I spent 7 nights there with my wife and we are very satisfied. The hotel had organized excursions so we could see nice and interesting places. We could see the true African life. Management and staff are also very nice. Thank You

The room (11) was excellent, spotless and constantly serviced. All of your staff are extremely pleasant, constantly smiling, helpful and friendly - a joy to be with! Kobe is wonderful, especially the raised table overlooking the bay. We'll be back. Thank you so much.

Lonno Lodge is a wonderful, peaceful small boutique hotel with ocean views, a large pool and delicious food. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. There are nearby restaurants/clubs with sandy beaches.

My wife and I travelling to the SSL to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary having been engaged in Kenya in 1994. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every department. Pre visit the communication was extremely efficient and prompt. Throughout our stay everyone was friendly and professional. The hotel is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The environmental projects are well thought through, encouraged and managed. The food was excellent with a large variety and quality. We particularly...

The hotel and surroundings are lovely. They do not overshadow the staff, who were all extremely courteous, friendly, helpful and go the extra mile to help! Very impressed and will definitely be back.

Lovely small hotel, right on the seafront in Shela. Attentive, friendly staff and delightful gardens including a small pool. The food is excellent and the rooftop restaurant is relaxed with fabulous views across the bay. My room was clean and spacious, with a ceiling fan, safety deposit box and comfortable king size bed. The hotel is well located in Shela village - the main Shela beach, often deserted, is spectacular and is a five minute wall away. and Lamu town is a 20 minute walk away or...

Me any my partner stayed at Nomad for a 5 day that started just after Christmas and ended just after new year. We had a very warm welcome at the hotel and the cold flannels on arrival were a god send in the midday heat. Our room was generously proportioned and luxurious with a huge bathroom and a spacious balcony including day beds. The staff at the hotel are all very friendly, making all of their guests feel like individuals and they do all that they can to try and make your stay special and...

Brilliant yet relaxed

We had a wonderful stay at Pinewood Resort & Spa, which fitted our requirements perfectly in not being too large but offering everything that we were looking for - pool, gym, spa, beach, multiple restaurants. One of our party was a vegetarian and there could have been more choice for her. We had booked on an all inclusive package, which was convenient as none of us are large drinkers, but being limited to house wine and having to pay the full cost for cocktails, rather than a small surcharge,...

The apartment far exceeded our expectations, it was huge for the five of us, breakfast was great and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The beach was steps away, overall a fantastic stay.

1st room had bed bugs but I was relocated to another room on an upper level. Staff and service was great.
