"Everything costs extra. There is no electric kettle in your room - you will have to pay €5 extra. Drinking water costs extra. Rooms are not soundproofed. We heard every footstep down the hallway. We were woken at 3AM by someone running down the hallway on both nights. We could even hear the neighbours using the toilet. On a positive note, there is air conditioning but book with caution; we were made to feel like they were doing us a favour and we weren't paying €135 per night for a dark small...

"Hotel buchen mit Comfort-Zimmer, sehr groß, auch das Bad. Frühstück sehr gut. Umgebung leider tote Hose, aber durch die Weinberge ist man schnell in Bernkastel und auch auf der Burg Landshut. Möglichkeiten für Schifffahrten. Meine war sogar umsonst, hatte am 17.08. Geburtstag ... Fazit, Hotel in Veldenz zu empfehlen, war dann noch mit Gruppe in einem anderen, erlitt bei betreten des Zimmers fast einen Schock ..."
