"I love this historic property! It has become my “go-to” when in DC. With an expansive terrace and beautiful gardens that overlook Rock Creek Park, it feels like an oasis resort within the city. And yet, it is only a short block from a red line Metro station, offering easy access to the rest of the city. "People camping on the medium strip between highways. Stranger in front of hotel door cornered me and talked for over 30 minutes when all I wanted to do is get in my room and chill. "

"I initially thought the room was slightly too small for two people with luggage, but the water pressure was exceptional. The uncertainty surrounding the experience was part of its charm. Considering the cost, the stay was well worth it. The inclusion of two free drink chips for use at the downstairs bar was a pleasant surprise. Additionally, a variety of games were available to pass the time. The staff maintained a consistently positive demeanor, making my stay more enjoyable."

"It had a lot of Food trucks, McDonalds, Starbucks, and the breakfast buffet option was very convenient. I would like a microwave in the room because I went with my baby and I needed to go downstairs to be able to warm his milk inside the reception shop. The beds were perfect, and the reception staff was very kind and considerate."
