The hotel is celebrating 100 years, meaning they are doing a continuously good job accommodating customers! Location is great. Close to all the sites. Very friendly staff. Great food at the restaurant. Rooms did show its age but was clean. Beds were comfortable.

Location, location, location!! Staff very helpful and informative. Pool was large and well maintained. Views for miles around were incredible and the general store across the road was well stocked. So why the 4/5 rating? Rooms could should have been cleaner especially the bathroom and shower area. Cooling systems were up to date and a great amount of effort was put into fire systems. Ate at the bar area twice and the menu was pretty limited but what was offered was fresh and good.

Great stay and in a convenient location to see all the sites. For being out in the middle of a desert, they have everything you need. I have both dog and cat allergies and had no flare ups or reactions, which means the rooms are very clean.

It’s cute and quaint and very isolated. The staff was all very nice, the room was very clean, and they did allow us to check in early. Unfortunately, knowing the hotel 20 miles up the road was only $90 more with a whole oasis/pool/spa made this one seem not worth the money. The pool here was pretty dirty and drab (I know it’s hard to maintain with all the dust, but still) and there were no towels, even though the front desk said there would be. The general store was overpriced and the restaurant was too, allow food was decent and our server was so sweet! The stars were pretty spectacular at night, but there wasn’t really a place specifically go to look at them. Overall, probably wouldn’t stay again.
