The location was perfect for quick access to the Sand Dunes. Great to run out for Star gazing and sunrise. The restaurant wasn’t fancy but the food and service was great. I suggest eating in the bar next door. Same menu. Fun bar Rooms were sufficient and priced right. General store and gas across the street. The staff was kind and helpful. Would recommend and stay again.

Room with King bed was good. Clean, but room is showing its age. The village had the park service working on the plumbing so you couldn’t drink the water while we were there. They did a great job providing bottled water for guests. Everyone was friendly that we encountered.

Honestly what stood out was how the staff handled the flooding and then the electricity outage. They managed things well with the generator and had positive, helpful attitudes. They gave great service at the restaurant and great directions and suggestions at the front desk. Everything was handled really smoothly.

This is an amazing gem inside the Death Valley National Park with on site shopping, dining, and gas. Our room is facing the sand dunes and the views are just so stunning. We were so so pleased to be able to catch wolf moon on the night of our stay. It was a nice pleasant surprise to find this renovated room equipped with comfortable bed and state of the art amenities, we just couldn’t be happier.
