Family run friendly relaxed place, great staff, great amenities, direct access down onto the rocks for easy access to swim in the sea. Very relaxing place.
It is a wonderful place like paradise with very friendly people. The food is tasty, too. The only downside is the construction work on the street which makes it a bit tricky to drive but it is still possible with a small car or scooter.
Our experience was great from day 1 to our last day. It was quiet and off the beaten path which is what we preferred. Was easy getting a ride to and from all areas. Beth and Ernie were helpful and lovely to chat with. Maxwell is the sweetest pup! Thanks for having us :)
Views breathtaking.Tucked away on a side road behind a steel gate you would not realise this property existed.Isolated so nothing near but snacks and restaurant very reasonably priced.Staff friendly happy and very easy to deal with.Outstanding
The place is serene, always clean and the staff always friendly. At night I see roaming guard checking out each hut. There's also a guard dog, barks at you but as long as the staff calls it, just smells you. Safe and secure. Also has a nice sea side hut and swing. Cottage with tables and hammocks are great for photos. Pool is well maintained. Food is good too. Rented a motorcycle, the staff always has contacts for island or land tours or if you want service going to and fro the airport.
If peace and quiet a great view and superb hospitality is what you're looking for Villa de Gloria is the place to stay. The owners are the best! We'd stay there agai!

Quiet place in Bohol Panglao, a little bit remote but still accessible if you rent a motorbike right at the place. Owner and staff is very nice and helpful. The place has its private access to the sea and nice cabins to stay at.
Accomodation is good for a one night stay. However, facilities such as pool, jacuzzi, washroom weren't maintain well. Staff were nice.

What I like the most in this property is how peaceful and quite it is. If you want a laid back or just chilling out, this resort is for you. The only downside is thier pool. I wish they could fix the leak of thier pool and change the water perhaps?
All in all, I will still recommend this resort for your stay.
** Caution ** Due to an active volcano in the region, all flights had been canceled around the area (MNL airport was completely closed). I attempted multiple times to cancel my reservation with a refund. The hotel wouldn't budge. Terrible customer service (sometimes extraordinary circumstances allow for "rules" to be bent). They wouldn't even allow me to rebook for a later date...
Privacy and good service. Owners talk to us like a new friend

Liked: Staff & service
We like it since it is located near the sea or river. However it is quite far from the city center and will cost you a fortune going to the city for lunch or dinner. Although staff were friendly and helpful especially Sylvie and Dada. Would suggest that they provide shuttle service going to and from the city.

Friendly staff, perfect views over the sea! Rooms were clean and very cosy.
Stunning location
Upon arrival we found out the menu on restaurant was a bit limited - of course being vegetarian with low fodmap diet in Bohol is adventure itself already... but at least we were able to get some food after long tour around Bohol. I did not remember if they even had restaurant or not, so it was nice surprise. While eating they also asked selection for breakfast which had options for me as well. If you're vegan, it's a bit trickier.
Anyway the place itself is well taken care garden like resort with different size pools along seaview jacuzzi. It's very peaceful location so you can enjoy nature around and just relax. Our son (1 year 10 months) always wanted to go outside of the cottage we had for a walk.
Staff helped us around with our requests and were naturally friendly.
As the place is remote, entering the place with stuff you need is adviced, but trike to tagbilaran city does not take long. Or scooter, if you can use one.
I had nice time and rest of our group were extremely happy with the place.
Extra thanks to supervisor (Janet), she really makes sure visitors are okay.
To keep this brief:
This is great for people that like quiet, relaxing escapes - don't expect the "alona beach" vibe here. It's a very remote place and transport is needed everything.
Positives:
-Staff are friendly and welcoming (and the owner)
-Nice pools, and on the sea (can swim there too)
-Good value for money for the room
-It's relaxing, perfect place to bring a book and chill
Things to improve:
-The food choices are very limited. I stayed for 6 days and most options are rice with either chicken or pork. Breakfast is also mostly rice and meat. I was told the portion is "okay for 2" on some meals but they seemed normal size.
-There is no pricing on the menu so I was a little shocked at the price of my bill on checkout
-I was ill for a few days and was a little disappointed they said they'd charge a "service fee" to bring my meal to my room which is very near the eating area. Would have been a nice touch to waive it.
-A few small things in the room need maintenance, some lights need bulbs changing, shower emited a horrid smell for a few mins when turned on each time too.
Overall I recommend this place if you're a couple and want a quiet getaway. It's a lovely place and the staff are super nice.

Decent place with great view.
This place has a beautiful view, nice pool but also some problems. If you do not rent a scooter, it can be difficult to get anywhere and expensive due to somewhat remote location. The water in shower and tab are salty. They offer basic breakfast and dinner if you want, but do not expect anything fancy. If you can live with those, it can be a very relaxing and peaceful stay.
I fell in love with the property the moment I set foot on it. It is perfect for a solo, relaxing trip. I got a chance to meet and had a pleasant conversation with Ernie, the owner of the place, and couldn't have been happier throughout our conversation. The care and attention that went into this place is what made it perfect. Sylvie & Samantha were very helpful and friendly/attentive to the guests. The food is freshly made always with vegetable from their own garden; what else can one asks for!! I ended up eating dinner here every night instead of going out to dinner. If you're looking for a vibrant place to party, this is not the place for you; but if you're looking for a sanctuary to relax and enjoy the comfort of home-cooked food and home feel, then this is the perfect place for you. I would definitely come back and stay with them again in the future. I couldn't help but to feel like a part of the family.
The surrounding area is not glamorous, however, they can arrange for transportation to take you to places in the island very easily.
This place was amazing! We came to the place to unwind and relax from the hustle and noise of Metro Manila. We came to the right place! The place is great, just as it was dscribed in their website. The staff were polite, courteous and friendly. Our stay was even more special because the owners happen to be there too and we got to know them. The place is truly a labor of their love. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family. We will return again when the opportunity arise. Just hoping the roads leading up to the place will soon be improved.
