Property location was great for our Hollins University visit. Initially property looks pretty new but upon closer observance you can really tell it was an old property that has been refreshed. Room was nice and big...great mattress and bedding...bathroom was clean...and wonderful thick towels... but tub itself was really dated and difficulty with turning off water in shower. Minimal breakfast...small breakfast area. This property appears to be Hilton's economy hotel. All is all it suited our needs.

I enjoyed my entire stay for the five days that I stayed. The rooms were big and spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and house keeping was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great to grab to get my day started. There were boiled eggs, breads, cereal, yogurt fruit teas and coffee and juices available daily. I would definitely stay here again.

Convenient place to shower and regroup during a long section hike on the Appalachian Trail. Staff was helpful and room was clean. Washing machine was broken, though, so I had to wash my clothes in the sink. Hopefully they can get that fixed soon. Stinky hikers want clean clothes!

Clean beds and friendly staff kept this from being a total disaster but the Spark “renovations” were lipstick on a pig. The property itself is just a run-down motel with some new paint and wall art. The room smelled of cigarettes, the grounds looked like a junk yard, the piddly breakfast buffet was reduced to scraps by 7:50am, and the coffee consisted of a couple tubs of Folgers that sit out all day. You might as well just stay with a regular budget hotel rather than paying a premium just to have the name “Hilton” on the sign.

You can tell this place has been recently renovated and it looks great! The room was super clean and super spacious. It was in a nice quiet area despite being relatively close to the highway! Our only downfall is the pillows had no volume (for our liking) and when we asked for 2 more , were informed they had no extra pillows on property for us to use. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the Virginia area, we'd just bring our own pillows to be a smidge more comfortable!
