"Excellent hôtel en pleine nature. Il faut prendre une pirogue depuis le parking pour accéder au lodge. Certaines chambres sont à 20 mètres de haut dans les arbres. "This is a charming resort. Please don’t expect five star luxury but the facilities are very nice and the team extremely friendly. They cater for larger groups but that was not a problem. The area has some wonderful walks and wildlife - although unfortunately we did not see any sloths."

Fine food, animal cuddles plus views to Nicaragua
"My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming ..."
