"We had a wonderful experience staying at the Black Lantern Inn. The Inn is location on the main street, and very easy to find. We didn't get to the property until 1:00 AM, and the property were decorated with Christmas lighting, which made it cozy and super easier find the place, especially when it was so dark out. There's a small parking lot between the two buildings, and our room was in the Burdette House. The buildings are vintage, but the room has all the towels and basic shampoos, and shower gel. "Owners are attentive and easy to reach at all times. Clean, comfortable rooms. I’ve stayed here many times and slept on a couch bed 3 times, getting the best sleep I had in months. The two rooms we have stayed in have everything needed to reheat and eat mesls. I just discovered the full kitchen and lounge for guests. No TVs in rooms, but WiFi allows using a laptop or phone for that, or go to common area TV. Restaurant (great food)) has different owners who don’t always stay open as posted, so check hours in person because it’s a long drive to anywhere else at night. Lovely place to stay. "
