The accommodation was so-so!
The pillows were so high (the long ones, used more for display than comfort) it hurt my neck. When I asked Tom at the front desk for flat regular pillows, he said the hotel didn't have any!
I then asked one of the room staff and they were only too happy to oblige!!
The walls between the rooms are gyprock and do not have any insulation, so we could hear the LOUD TV in the next room till 11.30pm and the old man next door, probably hard-of-hearing, wasn't happy that we asked him to turn it down.
DON'T even try the buffet dinner! For $85 per person it was absolutely terrible. Dry, unsavoury meat, tasteless veggies left too long under the heat lamps. The pumpkin soup was watery and had no flavour of pumpkin.
The (foreign) serving staff were fantastic and friendly.
Great place to stay, but eat out at Peppers Cradle Mountain, the food is a lot better there.
