"Honestly, when I first pulled up, I was like, "Seriously? This is what I paid $600 for?" And that was just from the outside. Inside wasn't much better. After dealing with the front desk staff and getting charged for parking (which is insane!), I went up to my floor. The carpet looked awful, peeling up and everything. The walls were missing trim, and the wallpaper was falling off. The hallway had this weird, musky smell. The rooms themselves weren't too bad, but it seemed like they redid the rooms and then just gave up on the hallway. The ceiling on the first floor was leaking, with huge puddles everywhere on the first morning. Honestly, the best things about this place were the kitchen, the outdoor bar, and beach access. Other than that, it was absolutely terrible. I'd probably never stay there again, especially for what I paid. To elaborate a bit on the parking, it's definitely a scam for hotel guests because the number of people who parked there and didn't pay is ridiculous. The number of people who swam in the pool after hotel guests had to wear colored wristbands to show staff they were staying there was also ridiculous. So, all the stuff I was paying for and the amenities, people around me were getting for free, and that's what really ticks me off."
