"This place is fine. It is clean, the location is great and the shower is heavenly. That said Ash&9th has the single worst pillows I’ve ever had to use anywhere - including tent camping. I’m used to bad pillows at Motels but these were next level. They’re thick, dense, lumpy balls - they’re not even pillow shaped. It’s clear that no one involved in running the place or doing the ordering has ever bothered to try and sleep with these things or they would know how bad they are. The building is really just an old Motel 6 or Super 8 type motel with a fresh coat of paint. But even Motel 6 puts out some free muffins and yogurt with the coffee in the morning. Here I had to pay $$ for a couple stale Uncrustables from a half empty freezer - and then the guy at the desk gently accused me of shoplifting because he wasn’t paying attention and didn’t hear the beep when my Apple Pay went through at the self-service kiosk. Is any of this a deal breaker on its own? No. But at $200/night (on discount), it starts to feel like I could probably find somewhere a lot nicer for just a little bit more money. Oh and they only gave us one key for three people."

"Cheap thin towels in bathroom. Shower floor extremely slippery. Front desk kept giving out wrong info. Seemed bothered by us answering straightforward questions. Pluses: great view and location. Servers during breakfast and valet staff were very nice and helpful."

"The hotel is very nice and clean. The issues are parking is very limited. We had to park on the street. The area is has a large population of homeless. Normally Best Western has breakfast as part of the stay but you have to pay extra at this hotel. "

"The rooms were cute and clean. Staff was very friendly and informative. My only complaint is the pool was small, I wish I would have looked it up before we booked, I would have preferred an outdoor pool in SoCal. "

"I booked a room to stay here for the weekend because of its great prices. I wish I wouldve paid more and stayed somewhere else. I arrived to the hotel around 2pm aware that check in was at 4pm. Droppes mt bags off, returned at 7 to find out my room was still not ready. I booked a room for 3 people, in return I was given a room with 1 bed until my room was ready at 9pm. Noone came to help take my bags to the new room. I was just left with a bag cart to do it myself. Once I arrived in the correct room, I found blood on the pull out bed sheets. House keeping came to remove the bedding but only to replace it with a mattress cover, no sheets. I had to call again to have housekeeping come make up the bed. Terrible service. "

"My family and I had a great stay at OMNI. We were in town for a Savannah Bananas game and being next to PETCO was super convenient as well it's proximity to all the restaurants in the Gaslamp. The kids really loved all the baseball memorabilia around the hotel. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable and the amenities were great."
