Charged me twice

I went to check in, got there around 630 only to be told the front desk was closed. He owned the other motel, pleasant motel, and offered my a room there. I told him I already paid and he said "yes they'll refund you" I was exhausted, wet and just wanted to get in my room. I saw on my credit card that I was charged, twice. This crooked individual was rude, condescending and manipulative. The rooms also weren't great, they were filthy, damp, and the beds were too short Not worth the hassle

Smoked out!!

Beds were comfortable. Rooms are being renovated and ours was not as complete as it could have been. Wood shavings under kitchenette sink (found when I went looking for a garbage can), and grouting in bathroom not quiet cleaned up. Bathroom was looking good though with new fixtures, although hot and cold taps reversed in the shower, and tub spout loose. Needs a bit more TLC. No end tables, no clock or phone, no lamps, no chairs, no coffee cups or coffee maker (standard motel things). Did have microwave, small fridge and a toaster. Biggest disappointment was the overwhelming smoke smell upon entering room!!!! Especially when I booked a non smoking room. Did ask for room spray and told the management, but was told that sometimes people smoke in rooms when they shouldn't. This smelled like someone lived in the room and smoked several packs a day for a year. Gross.

Good value

You cant expect amazing for the price. The kitchen was good, bathroom was good, the rest, so/so. Stayed 3 nights, room didnt get cleaned until i left. No big deal, but be prepared. Id stay agan.

Great service

Service was great. I had to check in late, called ahead and it was a non-issue. They offered to stay late to help me out. Room unfortunately smelled like cigarette smoke, called them to make sure they knew it wasn’t me, which they understood and apologized for. Can’t fault them for previous renters. Room is clearly being upgraded, wasn’t too bad for the price!

There’s was nothing pleasant about this place at all. The room reeked of cigarette smoke, the carpet was filthy. Wouldn’t recommend to an enemy.
