I’m sorry to hear you read our name, Resort City Inn, as the Coeur d’ Alene resort & booked the wrong hotel. We definite are not trying to trick people with our name. We have very clear pictures of our INN and description, and our prices are about 1/3 of the resort. There were many loud and clear signs, like the name of our INN, to let you know we are not the resort. We are in INN in a resort city. You were refunded prior to this review, and you never even went inside the room. We are nothing like motel 6. We are very clean & hospitable. This was a mistake on your end that you have taken out on us, and had I read this review I likely wouldn’t have been so kind to refund for your mistake.

During the summer we are open until 9pm, but during winter hours, only until 7pm. Once we get into May that will change back again, but I'm sure that was frustrating when you expected us there until 9pm. That's good to know about the buzzing. We recently got new wi-fi equipment that does seem loud. We were not aware that could be heard outside of our employee room. I'm happy to hear the room was clean for you. Hello Rachel, We are very sorry to hear your room was less that satisfactory. We did receive your maintenance note and the room has been repaired.

Our location is one of our best features! Being located next to the shops, restaurants, parks, hiking, and just a 6-minute walk from the beach. We do have rooms that I recommend for people that are more sensitive to noise (If requested for). Feel free to ask for any special request! We can do our best to accommodate!

We are very sorry you feel that way. We normally do not charge for stained towels unless there is obvious neglect. There is provided makeup towels for makeup use. Upon arrival in your room there was stains everywhere. On the towels, the sheets, and the blankets. As discussed on the phone we only decided to charge you for one towel to try to get some of our money back from the damages. The one towel was the cheapest thing we could charge you for. We hope you understand our compromise and we hope to see you back!
