Lovely location. Beautiful garden Beach club a little noisy at night with daily DJ from sunset but a beautiful sunset location Hot water available and ac. Beach villas a little dark on the inside. Outdoor kitchen..keep the cupboards locked otherwise the raccoons will raid them!

This place was remarkable! Best vacation I’ve ever had! I felt so safe, everything was clean, and we never wanted to leave the resort as it had so many amenities. The pool was great, the bungalows are great, and the staff were very friendly! Definitely going back!

Disappointing Experience at the “Coral” Casita Unfortunately, the “Coral” casita was not the right choice for a restful getaway. While the villa itself was clean and well-maintained, the noise from the nearby busy street was unbearable. The constant sound of ATVs and four-wheelers racing by throughout the night made it impossible to get any sleep. I ended up checking out after just one night because the hotel was fully booked and couldn’t offer me a quieter room. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this villa is not it. The location near the street makes it more suitable for those who don’t mind the noise or are out exploring during the evening hours. Unfortunately, it just didn’t provide the relaxation I was hoping for.

The room was great and the pool is alright it definitely needs an upgrade on the beach chairs and there isn’t a nice view from the pool unfortunately. Unfortunately the restaurant had just burned down 5 days prior but they made a pop up kitchen so they still have great options! The staff were really friendly as well!

Luz the manager was helpful and efficient. Location is great, set back from the beach with a private pool and busy restaurant/ bar in front. Lovely surf beach. Had an excellent massage at spa with Rosita.

Great Stay

Great service, a great location and a reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again. Danielle and Emilya were extremely helpful. There are a lot of restaurants near-by if you don't want to eat at Banana Beach, the bank machine is within walking distance plus the pool and the beach are right there.

Amazing spot, private and beautiful. Loved the outdoor kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Pool was very nice. Restaurant was decent. Incredibly helpful at reception. Very friendly. The only thing we didn’t love was the very loud music they played on Wednesday and Saturday nights. As we have a toddler.

Banana Beach Hotel was amazing! The bungalows are clean and comfortable . The hotel is busy and very lively!!! If you are looking for quiet this is not the place for you!!! I took my 19 year old daughter for 5 days and we had the absolute best time!!! I can’t wait to take the rest of my family back! One important note- Santa Teresa is NOT easy to get to from San Jose or Liberia. We drove ourselves from Liberia and it was a 4 hour adventure .

This is an excellent location for Surfers looking for a good wave but there isn't great swimming in front of this property rough and rocky. The beachfront restaurant and bar are available for anyone to use which was cool. We loved the patio and hammock with each room. Be sure to use the kitchen locks as raccoons are busy. Great reception but often not there. Excellent food at the restaurant at the beach. Best hummus ever!

This is a great location for walking to several different restaurants. The restaurant in front of hotel has lounge chairs which are a great option for lounging during the day. Service is hit or miss. Our drinks weren’t great but the fries and fried bread were. Loud music into the evening and a young fun party atmosphere. The seating area outside the room always had dust from the termites and ants. And the outside area needed a fan as there was no air movement. Soap and shampoo were supplied which was nice. Parking was spacious. Aircon worked and room stayed cool when out. Spotty internet.

Das Personal war sehr nett und sehr schnell und unkompliziert über WhatsApp zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und die Dusche auch super. Das Zimmer war nur etwas dunkel und hat etwas feucht gerochen. Uns haben ein paar Haken gefehlt um Sachen aufzuhängen. Es war sehr wenig los und der Pool ist super schön. Leider ging das WLAN nicht am Pool und es wurden noch arbeiten durchgeführt, was dann schon laut war und weniger entspannend. Die Strandbar ist super schön und die Lage echt toll.
