The room was clean and appeared recently updated—but around 2am, we discovered bed bugs. Lots of bed bugs crawling about. My husband bagged a few and took them to the front desk. We were moved to another room, but the rest of the night was anything but restful. We spent the next morning sanitizing everything, which is the last thing any stock show family wants to deal with on show day.
The front desk staff was friendly, but housekeeping admitted they already knew about the bed bugs. When I asked for a refund, they refused, citing “policy.” Worst of all, I saw the original room being turned over for the next guest. Be warned: the rooms may look okay, but they have bed bugs—and the staff knows it.
Room was overall comfortable and clean. My complaint is about the breakfast. I was expecting at least something to be offered. Also water went from warm to cold in the middle of second persons shower.

First room was a bit cold be he gladly moved us to another room. Very nice guy.
Have stayed here several times when it was Best Western. Apparently they are switching over to be Quality Inn. So no free breakfast. No ice machine. Had to call to get them to get TV on. Shower turned ice cold soon as I got in! And we seemed to be only guests there! Was disappointed this time. Hoping it gets better as we visit about once a year and not much choice in town.
They do not have breakfast stated remodeling but I was told it’s been that way over a year and didn’t show anything being worked on. Wi-Fi was slow and sketchy
