"Great place to stay."

"Located in a great area of Plaka. Easy to walk to everything. Nice balcony facing Plaka street and great view of Acropolis in back. Only downside was the lack of hot water from the water heater. The water would get cool before two showers were complete."

"Great location, but no air-con or electric fan in the guestrooms so very uncomfortable when the weather is warm. Most rooms also face other buildings & houses directly so there is no privacy at all unless you close the curtain all the times. We wer e on honeymoon and we told the hotel in advance & upon check in. Yet they assigned this kind of rooms to us as most of their rooms face their neighbours. It's terrible!"

"Having rented VRBOs in Germany, Italy, England and Ireland, this was a well described and nice accommodation. The apartment is situated about 4 blocks from the Parthenon, and in the heart of the city with great shopping and restaurants. Remember that Greecians start late and finish late, so being in one of the most hoping areas the noise is a goes on till about midnight, that is just the price to pay for the great location. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again."

"The staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. I would stay here just for the wonderful staff. The location in Plaka makes it an easy walk to nearly everything you want to see in Athens. Even though it is on a very busy street, the room was very quiet. My only negative is the bathroom setup. There is no door to the bathroom so privacy is a challenge. There is a 2 sink setup which is great, a shower stall with a curtain and then a toilet room but the door to this area has shaded...

"All started great with a parking right in front of hotel. Thanks to the lady at the reception. Room was great and clean and at very close proximity of the museum, the guides meeting point, and the Parthenon. Breakfast on the 6th floor simply gorgeous with a fantastic view of the Parthenon. The coffee and breakfast options simply great and helped get a good start. I would return there."

"Nice spot, location is very convenient! We had the whole floor with balcony to ourselves which was very nice. Only issue was the shower and washroom sink would get clogged very quickly when using the water. Breakfast was average. No amenities other than the private balcony."

"We travelled as a family with 2 young kids, 4 and 7, and booked the executive suite. We chose this hotel mainly because it was close to the Acropolis. It was a 5 min walk to the entrance of the acropolis and about a 15 min walk to Syntagma square. The hotel was very well maintained, clean, and our room was more than enough space for 4 people. They converted the sofa into a bed, and there was second bathroom, which was great for our kids as the sink was lower. The only downside was a set...

"We were very happy with our stay at Fos. It is located on a very cute corner with tavernas and a market street with lots of shops. After exploring a bit, we saw some less safe and more crowded areas (Monastiraki), making us thankful we chose this property in Plaka. It is also a quick walk to the Acropolis. We stayed in room 31. It was very roomy with a large living room, two bathrooms and a kitchenette. The bedroom has blackout shades, helping with sleeping in if you prefer to do so, and the bed...
