The hosts were amazing. They were so kind and helpful, and sorted everything out for me. They even gave me extra scent bags (home made) for the room and also provided me with a Chinese plug adaptor. The balcony view is absolutely stunning, especially at night. Very reasonably priced, too!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The location is fantastic—just a short walk from Hongyadong, with an incredible view of the river and the city lights. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling windows made the view even more amazing. One of the highlights was getting to see the drone show from the room. Watching the lights over the river at night was such a memorable experience. The location also made it really easy to explore Chongqing, with plenty of restaurants, attractions, and transportation options nearby. The host was friendly and helpful, and communication was easy throughout our stay. If you're visiting Chongqing for the first time, especially if you want to experience Hongyadong and the city at night, I would definitely recommend staying here. Great location, beautiful views, and a very comfortable room!

The panoramic river view from our window was breathtaking! Watching the light show on the Grand Theatre was so romantic. The room is newly renovated and spotless. Although the building exterior looks historical, it’s worth it for that view!

The view was amazing but I would be lying if I said the room looked anything like the pictures. It's not nearly as well renovated and is in a very old building that is worth knowing before booking. But for price and location it is amazing but the room and bathroom are a lot less nice and still feel like it needs renovation. The patio is amazing and the staff were very punctual and great at responding.

What a find! This place boasts a perfect location by the riverside in the heart of the city, making everything easily accessible. The convenience for getting to/from the airport and train stations is a huge plus. The highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking night view​ of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers from our window – it was unforgettable! The staff were equally wonderful, providing genuinely kind and helpful service throughout our stay. True, the building itself isn't brand new, but don't let that fool you! Inside, our room was a haven – so cozy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated​ that we felt right at home. It greatly enriched our Chongqing adventure, and we're already planning our next stay. Highly recommended!

So I specifically booked this place for the view of the drone show. If you are curious you are getting the side view but for me it was more than enough to have a clear view of the show. I’ll start w the negatives, only 2. The address listed on Expedia isn’t accurate so when u contact the property they will send u correct address and pic of golden doors so u know where to meet the apt manager to get your key fob. Second, there is no kitchen or microwave. Only a fridge. So u can’t cook or warm anything up. Positives now. 15 min walk to raffle city for shopping or food to the right and 10 min walk to hongyadong cave. There is plenty of food choices open late hours. We are like at 1230am for some dumplings There were a few small roaches in apartment but for me that’s not a big deal. Well expected to see in buildings like these

The apartment looks NOTHING like the pictures. We really loved the view though, and the location is great. However, the apartment itself was very worn down and not clean. There was old food left in the fridge when we arrived, which was quite unpleasant. The bathroom setup is also impractical – the toilet is inside the shower area, meaning the entire toilet seat gets wet every time someone showers, which is especially inconvenient for a family. Another issue was privacy. At one point, the host had entered the apartment while we were out and left a bag of oranges inside, which felt uncomfortable as we had not been informed or asked beforehand. Overall, the location and view are nice, but the standard of the apartment and cleanliness need significant improvement.

Très bon séjour ! La chambre était vraiment propre et bien entretenue, ce qui est très appréciable. Le personnel a été accueillant et attentionné pendant tout notre séjour. Nous avons surtout adoré le balcon avec la vue sur la rivière : un endroit parfait pour s’asseoir, prendre un verre et profiter tranquillement du paysage de Chongqing. Un immense merci à notre hôte, d’une grande humanité et d’une serviabilité exceptionnelle. Un exemple parmi d’autres : alors que nous étions perdus, il nous a non seulement réservé un véhicule, mais a aussi assuré la communication avec le chauffeur. Pour des voyageurs ne parlant pas la langue locale, ce geste a été inestimable et réconfortant. Le logement est tout aussi remarquable : décoré avec goût, d’une propreté irréprochable, et offrant une vue parfaite pour le spectacle de drones de Chongqing, véritablement époustouflant !
