"I am not sure I want to admit how amazing this place is, for I always want to be able to return:) . Rooms are clean and somewhat modern but also cozy with beautiful local furniture, art and textiles. Everything was clean, and sleeping was very comfortable. The pool is amazing; we used it late night and early morning for some lap swimming! Food is delicious, local and organic; much of it comes from the property. Service is excellent, but it does help to have some Spanish. This place has an amazing history, but most impressive is its modern-day commitment to ecological sustainability. You will be staying in the middle of a living jungle with gorgeous manicured grounds immediately surrounding the property. The birds, trees and flowers are stunning. A once in a lifetime experience."
