I loved my stay at the hostel; it's so modern and clean (a cleaner very regularly comes in), each bed has black-out curtains (privacy is an important factor for me, these were perfect) and your own light which is great for times of jet lag. You have your own charging stations (including USB port if you're worried about adaptors like I was!).
Showers are clean, private (there are plenty of them and I never had to wait) and they include shower gel + shampoo. You're provided with a free towel.
A nice social atmosphere over the free breakfast (there always free refrigerated drinking water too) and free Netflix and books in the common area for any down-time.
Whenever you leave or enter the staff are there to give tips and recommendations, or just a happy hello.
You're a stones-throw from the old city, everything is within walking distance or there're often taxis down the road a little (or staff can call you a grab (I.e. Uber)).
The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I broke my phone while in Chiang Mai which put me in a really difficult and scary position as a solo traver, and all the staff went above-and-beyond their usual roles to help me and still make the most out of my stay.
I highly recommend this hostel for a happy and inexpensive stay in Chiang Mai.
