"Beautiful location, pretty Riad which is close to everything"

"I had a mechanical failure of my airplane from JFK airport and my flight was cancelled so I could not make it even into the city. I emailed the property and even asked Expedia the third party from which I booked through to contact the property to make a an exception and not charge me. The insurance for cancellation is for some terrible emergency or illness with proof which wouldn’t even cover flight cancellation. I was disappointed that the hotel staff or leadership/managment does not care...

"It was a newly renovated Dar style riad (no garden in the courtyard), but the mosaic details were amazing. In keeping with the Chafchaouen style, the whole riad was covered in blue-and-white mosaic, creating an ethereal experience. It is located within easy walking distance of all the tourist spots. The hosts were extremely helpful and made sure we had a nice stay. "

"This Riad is not near the Medina as was suggested in the listing. It was a 30 minute walk. Not a single person was there, besides us. They were kind, but this Riad was not very hospitable like the others we stayed in. They were not able to assist us very much or suggest anything. The room was smaller than the photos suggested, and it was cold and rainy but the heater in the room did not work very well as we needed. It was also more expensive than other Riads which are much better. We hoped more...
